Keeping my make-up on all day has always been a struggle of mine since the day I started playing with make-up. I've always stuck to powders and baking in the recent year but I hate how I look completely matte and have the look of make-up on my face. I want to look natural, glow-y, and not cakey. I've always looked for solutions but haven't found anything that really blew me away until a week ago. As you can tell from the title, I've tried the L'Oreal Make-up Setting Spray and I've had the exact experience I've been looking for. This bottle of God's gift to man has changed my make-up look completely.

  On L'Oreal's website it says,
Locks in makeup for a “just applied” makeup look all day. Lightweight mist, barely there feel. Dermatologist tested. Non-comedogenic.
Keep your makeup looking fresh hours after application: no melting, fading or touch-ups necessary. This lightweight, oil free setting spray locks in your total makeup look, Face, Eyes, and Lips, preventing color from smudging or settling into fine lines for all-day staying power.

I wholeheartedly agree with that description. This product keeps me from using my powders,  my make-up doesn't move, and it lasts all day long. I always check mid-afternoon to see if my face needs touched up and I've haven't had to all week! It smells pleasant too but not overwhelming or overpowering. I love that it adds this glow and dewy touch to my face but not oily whatsoever. It keeps my T-zone from becoming an oily mess and I couldn't rave about it enough. This spray helped to melt the products into my skin and made it feel and look like my skin.

There's definitely a large market for setting sprays, thankfully, like the Gerard setting spray and the Urban Decay setting spray but this is my favorite from the drugstore. NYX and Milani have some too but I haven't liked them as much as I do with the L'Oreal spray.

A side note that I've learned is to set your face before you apply your eye make-up because it could smear your mascara on your lid or some other funky stuff!

You can find the L'Oreal setting spray at any drugstore or online ranging between $12.99-$16.99. I bought mine at my local King Soopers. I have not put this stuff down and it's become a staple in my make-up collection! Having a setting spray will revolutionize your make-up routine and better your looks. Give it a try and let me know how you like it in the comments section. :)

xo,
H.
