Three High-End Palettes You Need

Don't get me wrong, I love drugstore products like the next person. Especially great quality drugstore make-up. Within the high-end world, you can find great products that are great for every day use and worth the money. Buying high-end make-up does get so expensive (duh) and you want to buy stuff worth your cash. I want to start out with eye shadow palettes because its my favorite department of the make-up industry and I'm so picky about what I buy. The palettes I'm listing in this post will be the most ideal for every day uses and ones I'll definitely be repurchasing and use every single day. I use at least one daily for work, parties, and every other type of day. Each have a great range of colors suitable for any eye color. There are many, many, many palettes out in the world but these are the ones that I've been using for months/years and am happy to recommend.

Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette
($53.00 at Ulta)

  1. The first comment I have to say is that these eye shadows smell so good. It's hard to describe but it's pleasant and fairly subtle. These colors have excellent pigmentation, a beautiful range of colors, and have great quality. This palette could be used to create all kinds of different looks from work appropriate to a night out. This is my top choice if you want the most universal palette and suits most, if not, all needs.
    Tartelette Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette
    ($46.00 at Ulta)

  2. This palette has a beautiful range of browns and purples. It's the perfect palette for everyday looks and intense looks as well. It's all matte eye shadows and perfect for natural looks. There are warm, buttery, and wonderfully pigmented. They're easy to blend and a great beginner palette as it is very forgiving.
    Sephora Z-Palette
($18.00 for the z-palette and $5-10 for the eye shadow pans and $14.00 for bronzer and blush)

  3. This is my first Z-palette I've ever bought (Morphe is an affordable option) and one of my favorite in my collection. A Z-palette is a magnetic palette that you put magnetic eye shadow pans in. This enables you to pick out the colors of your choosing and basically create your own palette. This is what I take with me when I travel or stay overnight somewhere. Since the z-palette came out, companies have produced magnetic pans for blushes, bronzers, and eye shadows. You can create your ideal palette and change them out depending on the season, your mood, etc. My pans have beautiful quality are long-lasting, and absolutely easy to use. This palette is even perfect to put in your purse for touch-ups throughout the day and have a sturdy case to protect your products.

Bonus!

Urban Decay: Naked 2 Palette
($54.00 at Ulta)
This was my first palette (thanks, Momma!) and it's seen it's fair share of hot messes. But this palette has every wearable shimmer to suit any night out or event you could have. It's compact, super easy to store, and sturdy so nothing is going to mess up your shadows! The shadows are blendable, pretty shades, and have a great pay off. As you can tell from the swatches, they aren't scary colors or intimidating at all for someone looking to experiment.

If you have any other palettes you love, let me know in the comments! If you have these palettes, leave your review in the comments as well!
