Let's Talk Face Masks

If you're like me, days off are for only relaxing and appreciating the solitude. Everything is quiet and peaceful. Unless you're a mom, then you never get a day off for a few more years. After a week of craziness, it's nice to spend about an hour taking care of yourself. Spending half an hour in a bubble bath (with some essential oils thrown in), watching your favorite show, and a face mask on is the perfect image of relaxation. Showing yourself some love and a dedicated time to relax feels good on the soul and ready to show the world the boss you are!

Skincare is absolutely essential for a good application of make-up and face masks are just as important as your daily routine. You want to find a face mask that'll target your trouble areas and work in your favor to get your dream skin. There's so many masks out there that are drugstore, high-end, or DIY. You want to find one that is compatible with your skin tone and will meet your needs. The ones that I've found work for my skin type (oily/ dry skin combination) and that will also add a radiance to my skin. I've been using these products for months and always reach for them every week. I'm so excited to share some more of my secrets! My Favorite Face Masks

L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask*
$9.99
I love, love, love this magic in a jar. It has absolutely changed my T-Zone immensely. It cleans out all of my pores and takes out all of the junk in my pores. I don't think it brightens my skin at all. I apply it with a flat foundation brush and keep in on my t-zone for 5-8 minutes.

Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Peel-Off Mask Cucumber
Freeman Cucumber Peel-off Mask$2.99
I put this on before I put on the clay mask and my brightening mask so all of the dead skin and gunk in my pores are mostly gone. I love the feeling of taking off the dried up mask and feel my baby smooth skin. It's so inexpensive and a major staple in my mask collection!

Sei Bella Complete Radiance Clay Mask
This is my new found love. My mom gave it to me as a present a couple months ago and all I do is apply it on the outer part of my face and the results are stunning. My face is glowing, soft, and so smooth. When applying make-up, it adds a beautiful glow from within effect. I absolutely love this product!

These are just a few of my absolute favorite masks and are some of the gems that have made a difference in my skin's appearance. I've been particularly love this combination. My application: I put the Freeman Peel-off mask on first and wait for all of it to dry before I peel it off. I then paint on the L'Oreal clay mask on my t-zone and apply the Sei Bella Complete Radiance Mask on the outer portions of my face. I clean it off and apply a toner with a cotton ball all over my face, put on my Pond's Moisturizer*, and a few drops of my argan oil to finish up my spa time. I love the feeling of my face after some pampering and some alone time. What are some of your favorite masks? Let me know down in the comments section!

H.
