Three High-End Palettes You Need

Image
Don't get me wrong, I love drugstore products like the next person. Especially great quality drugstore make-up. Within the high-end world, you can find great products that are great for every day use and worth the money. Buying high-end make-up does get so expensive (duh) and you want to buy stuff worth your cash. I want to start out with eye shadow palettes because its my favorite department of the make-up industry and I'm so picky about what I buy. The palettes I'm listing in this post will be the most ideal for every day uses and ones I'll definitely be repurchasing and use every single day. I use at least one daily for work, parties, and every other type of day. Each have a great range of colors suitable for any eye color. There are many, many, many palettes out in the world but these are the ones that I've been using for months/years and am happy to recommend. The Foundation That Revolutionized My Life

Image
Guys, I have found my new ride-or-die foundation. No joke. This stuff has become my new obsession and has absolutely  blown my mind. Mini back story: for year I've struggled with terrible skin and needing an affordable full-coverage foundation. I've tried about every drugstore full coverage out there but couldn't find out I'd even talk about. I was looking at high end foundations that day I bought my new fave foundation (a few more seconds, so quiet drum roll please) because I was that desperate. The drugstore foundations I tried didn't have my undertone, looked cakey, and/or didn't cover very well. It's been a real struggle for many years!  The product I finally purchased was the  L'Oreal Infallible Foundation Total Cover  ($10.99) and oh my lord it has become my life!   This amazing bottle of magic has blown me out of the waters. It's completely light weight and is completely natural looking. It looked like my own skin with none of my disc...

Let's Talk Face Masks

Image
If you're like me, days off are for only relaxing and appreciating the solitude. Everything is quiet and peaceful. Unless you're a mom, then you never get a day off for a few more years. After a week of craziness, it's nice to spend about an hour taking care of yourself. Spending half an hour in a bubble bath (with some essential oils thrown in), watching your favorite show, and a face mask on is the perfect image of relaxation. Showing yourself some love and a dedicated time to relax feels good on the soul and ready to show the world the boss you are!   Skincare is absolutely essential for a good application of make-up and face masks are just as important as your daily routine. You want to find a face mask that'll target your trouble areas and work in your favor to get your dream skin. There's so many masks out there that are drugstore, high-end, or DIY. You want to find one that is compatible with your skin tone and will meet your needs. The ones that I...

Why You NEED Argan Oil

Image
Today, I'm going to be talking about a beauty "secret" that I cannot  stop raving about to my girlfriends and family! I've been trying argan oil for a couple months now and I seriously can't stop using it. It's been a popular product for a year or so now due to the Youtube universe and has been taking the world by storm. There's so many uses and it's all in an inexpensive bottle! Don't get me wrong, there's some that are over $50 that have other benefits included but for the rest of the world wanting to save some money, I found one that is inexpensive and does the job so well (I'll get into it in a sec!) so I don't feel the desire to buy the high-end oils. All over Youtube and Instagram , the  Farsali Rose Gold Elixir  became a sensation practically overnight and everyone and their mom has it.     The argan oil that I found was $6-$7 at TJ Maxx and I was honestly wanting to find out what all the fuss was. It's the Sculpt Oil  an...

Review of the L'Oreal Infallible Setting Spray

Image
Courtesy of lorealparisusa.com      Keeping my make-up on all day has always been a struggle of mine since the day I started playing with make-up. I've always stuck to powders and baking in the recent year but I hate how I look completely matte and have the look of make-up on my face. I want to look natural, glow-y, and not cakey. I've always looked for solutions but haven't found anything that really blew me away until a week ago. As you can tell from the title, I've tried the  L'Oreal Make-up Setting Spray  and I've had the exact experience I've been looking for. This bottle of God's gift to man has changed my make-up look completely.       On L'Oreal's website it says, Locks in makeup for a “just applied” makeup look all day. Lightweight mist, barely there feel. Dermatologist tested. Non-comedogenic. Keep your makeup looking fresh hours after application: no melting, fading or touch-ups necessary. This lightweight, oil free...

Mini Drugstore Haul!

Image
To celebrate the "launch" of this blog, I did a little shopping spree at Target. I found out I lived really close to a Super Target and my happiness soared to a whole new level! I felt bad for my fiance (I dragged that poor man with me) and browsed every aisle in the beauty section for a whole hour! I went to Target looking for some products that I've been wanting to try out for awhile now or what the beauty world has been talking about. I love finding products that are great quality and a great price (I'm on a college budget. What can I say?!). This post will break down all of the products I got and my thoughts on the few I tried. Side note, I'm posting the pictures from the Target website so you can click on the picture to follow the link to get them yourselves. :) The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Welcome

Hey there! I’m excited to finally debut this blog! I honestly never thought I’d do a beauty blog in a million years. I always put it off thinking there was someone out there better than me, more experienced, and countless other reasons. But then I woke up out of those thoughts thinking, “Who cares?” I know there’s thousands of better make-up gurus but I love it and I enjoy dabbling in make up and seeing the latest trends. I’m the girl that’s always at Ulta and Sephora every weekend gazing at all the beautiful products out there. I love spending my evenings browsing Youtube videos and Pinterest to learn of new tricks, new products, and tutorials. Frankly, I love make-up. I love the effect it has on my confidence and how I can incorporate my personality on my skin. It’s just a lot of fun that I love to talk about. I love sharing with my friends, family, and even strangers about make up! It’s great to get feedback and to hear what they’re loving as well. I love having conversations...
